Copper Creek Lodge, Dream Weaver, Art Studio, Sky and Snow Cabins and Forest Retreat guests: You do not need to check in at restaurant. Go directly to Copper Creek Lodge property anytime after 4PM for self check in. (See site map below) Use lock code you were given when you made the reservation.

Driving Directions:
From SeaTac Airport/Seattle:
Take I-5 South to Tacoma. Go east on Hwy 512 a few miles to Hwy 7. Turn right on Hwy 7, heading South. Continue on Hwy 7 to Elbe. Hwy 7 makes a sharp right turn in Elbe, crossing the Nisqually River. Don't make the turn, but continue straight through. Without making any turns you will be on Hwy 706. Continue on 706 through Ashford. Watch for Mile Post 11 along the right side of the road, two miles before the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park.
From Seattle / Bellevue (alternate route):
Take I-5 South to 405. Take 405 north to Renton. Go south on 167 to west on 512 to Puyallup. Take South Hill exit Hwy 161 South to Eatonville. In Eatonville continue South to Hwy 7. Turn left on Hwy 7, heading South. Continue on Hwy 7 to Elbe. Hwy 7 makes a sharp left turn in Elbe, crossing the Nisqually River. Don't make the turn, but continue straight through. Without making any turns you will be on Hwy 706. Continue on 706 through Ashford.
From Portland:
Take I-5 North. Continue Hwy 12. Go east on Hwy 12 to Morton. Turn left on Hwy 7, heading North to Elbe. Turn right after crossing the Nisqually River at Elbe onto Hwy 706. Continue on 706 through Ashford. Watch for Mile Post 11 along the right side of the road, two miles before the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park.
Check-in:
Copper Creek Inn / Log Cabin:

If you are booked at Copper Creek Log Cabin, Frenchie's, Roselea's or Jennie's at Copper Creek Inn, continue past mile post 11, over a small bridge that crosses Copper Creek. Copper Creek Inn is the red building on the left immediately after crossing the creek. Check in any time after 4 PM at the restaurant.

  • Frenchie's, Roselea's and Jennie's guests can sign up for private time in the hot tub when you check in.
  • Copper Creek Log Cabin has a private two person tub on the back deck. No need to schedule your hot tub.

If arriving late, be sure to call the restaurant. 360-569-2326 to let them know you are on the way. They can leave a key in a lock box. Frenchie's, Roselea's and Jennie's are located above the restaurant. The log cabin is located to the left of the restaurant. Use the combination you were given when you called to retrieve the key from the lock box.

Copper Creek Lodge / Copper Creekside / Dream Weaver / Art Studio / Forest Retreat / Sky & Snow Cabins:

If you are booked at Copper Creek Lodge, Dream Weaver, Art Studio, Forest Retreat, Sky or Snow Cabin watch for Mile Post 11 along the right side of the road, two miles before the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. Take the next driveway on the left. (Not the cedar house right on the road, but the driveway right before it. Copper Creek Lodge and cabins are located off the highway, behind the cedar home. You cannot see them from the highway) Go about 100 feet down the driveway.

  • If you are staying at Copper Creek Lodge, Copper Creekside, take the right fork. Copper Creek Lodge is the first log building on the right. Continue around the building and toward the creek to get to Copper Creekside. Park anywhere in front of house (not on the grass please).
  • If you are staying at Dream Weaver, Forest Retreat, Art Studio, Sky Cabin, Snow Cabin, take the left fork. Pass the small red log cabin and continue up drive.
    • Dream Weaver is the next cedar cabin on your left with stone front steps. Your hot tub is rignt behind your cabin.
    • Art Studio ~ Continue up drive to the first small cedar cabin on your right. Your hot tub is down the trail to the east of the cabin. . . toward the creek. You'll see a log gazebo right on the creek with a hot tub in it.
    • Forest Retreat ~ The large cabin on your left is Forest Retreat. Continue around this building to the entrance deck on the back side of the building. You will see your hot tub right on the back deck.
    • Sky Cabin / Snow Cabin ~ The two small cabins behind Forest Retreat. Snow is the first one you come to. Sky is the second one. Your bathroom and shower is located on the ground level of Forest Retreat. You may sign up for private time in the hot tub located behind Copper Creek Inn. Sign up at the restaurant.

Use the code you were given when you made your reservation. Pull down the tab at the top of the lockbox to open the box after entering the combination. The key is inside the lock box. Check in any time after 4 PM.

Site Map:
Fireplaces: All fireplaces are thermostat controlled. You should never have to touch the stove or its controls. The thermostat is located on a wall opposite the stove or on the wall to the left of the stove.

Hot Tubs: Do not touch any button on the control panel except the Jets button. Touching other buttons will cause tub cool down to 88 degrees.

What to Bring:

  • Shoes and robes to wear from your unit to hot tub
  • Flash light
  • Videos, DVDs, and CDs (Jennie's Room has only DVD)
  • Games, cards, puzzles
  • Hiking gear for use in Mt Rainier National Park: Insect repellent, day packs, water bottles, hiking shoes, tubes, cross country skis, snow shoes, etc. (Cross country ski gear, snow shoes rentals available at Summit Haus a few miles away.)
  • Good hiking shoes, day pack and comfortable clothing for visiting Mt Rainier National Park
  • Books, magazines and other reading materials

Food and beverages, if you like. All cabins have full kitchens. Frenchie's and Roselea's have microwaves. Small refrigerators, coffee pots and French Roast coffee are in both suites. Jennie's is a basic sleeping room with a coffee pot.

Guests at Copper Creek Inn Suites, Jennie's, Sky and Snow cabins may sign up for private time in the outdoor hot tubbehind Copper Creek Inn. Copper Creek Log Cabin, Lodge, Dream Weaver, Forest Retreat and Art Studio all have private hot tubs.

Telephone: There is no cell service in this area. If you would like a telephone in the Lodge or Log cabin please let us know. There is a $5 per day charge for the phone. A guest phone is available in the upstairs hall at Copper Creek Inn for free local calls. You will need to bring a prepaid calling card for any long distance calls.
